Beijing Aeronautical Manufacturing Technology Research Institute (BAMTRI) under Aviation Industry Corporation of China was established in July, 1957.

It is a sole and comprehensive research institute for conducting research and development work on aeronautical manufacturing technologies and equipments.

Since the foundation of BAMTRI, BAMTRI has offered a large number of advanced manufacturing technologies and equipments for the development of new type aircrafts, aeroengines, and technical renovations to aircraft manufacturers.

The institute has about 1400 staffs.
