In 1958, the second year after the establishment of BAMTRI, three graduates from Nanchang Aeronautical college majored in welding technology came to here and sowed the seed. Thereafter the seeds of welding technology were to root, sprout, to blossom and bear fruit. The staff egaged in welding technology nowadays has been increased to 120 people from the first three people. Fifty years of development has condensed the sweat and tears, joyness and sense of accomplishment.

    This Gathering, titled at “625 Harmonious Gatering upon 50 Anniversary of Welding Center Foundation”, is initiated by Academecian Guan Qiao, sponsered by Mr. Wu Houxian, Ma Xiang, and Scientific Development Planning department and held on 19th Dec,2008. The Gathering committee arranged visit of welding center for the participants, which aroused attendees recollecting theire youth days when they plunged themselves into the development of welding technology.
